I’ve been working in Dr. TJ Ha’s lab since freshman winter, focusing on engineering a photo-switchable DNA helicase. I’ve also worked on a few computational projects involving tumor deconvolution and mutation clustering.

Nicole Loza

I had the privilege of working in Dr. Karen Fleming’s lab since Junior year studying outer membrane protein folding in gram-negative bacteria. Working with the Fleming lab has been nothing short of amazing.

My favorite biophysics class was probably Single Molecule and Cell Biophysics with Dr. Myong and Dr. Ha because the material was very interesting, and It taught me a lot about reading and interpreting scientific papers.
