Research: Polymer Theory and Modeling in Biomolecular Condensates
I am from Qingdao, China, and I graduated with my B.S. in physics from UC Santa Barbara. I am now in the Zhang lab at Johns Hopkins. In the lab, I am excited to be playing around with physical theories and simulations while working closely experimentalists. In particular, I use polymer theory and coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations to understand the physical principles of phase separating biomolecular condensates, and their wide-range implications in biological functions.
Outside of lab, I enjoy swimming and biking on the beautiful trails around the Homewood campus. I also enjoy going out to eat with my friends, and discovering new secret restaurants in the city.
