Karen Fleming, professor in the Department of Biophysics, was awarded the prestigious Provost’s Prize for Faculty Excellence in Diversity. The prize began as part of the Faculty Diversity Initiative and celebrates faculty work that promotes understanding of and solidarity for the confluence of cultures that embody the global world, and for the contribution of the faculty member’s work to the advancement of diversity and inclusion.
