When Hands-on Learning Isn’t an Option

Before COVID-19, Jaime Sorenson, biophysics lecturer, had long wanted to create videos of some basic biophysics techniques so that students would be able to learn at their own pace, re-watching as often as they liked. Last semester, Sorenson began filming, making the videos as general as possible so the lessons will still work when protocols, concentrations, and reagents change in future semesters.
